Zachari spent most of his young life in Ulster, where his mother’s family was brought in from the lowlands of Scotland, and later his father from France. When he was in his teens his father was killed during a feud with the bordering local Irish settlements. Shortly after this, his mother stole some money and took him away from this harsh environment and fled to a small town outside London.

Zachari started working at the docks to keep a home while his mother did wash for some of more well off folks of the town. Upon their second visit to his port, captain Sven of a Hanseatic League ship remembered Zachari and liked how hard he would work. Sven extended Zachari an offer to travel and work with his kontor for a while. He quickly became an apprentice to the fire tender and is now one of the Master Fire Tenders for the Bergen Kontor. He has most recently taken a hand to wood carving, most specifically in making lutes and a few other stringed instruments.
