Jacob McLesy
Jacob McLesy is the bastard son of an Irish prostitute born in Burgundy. When she’d decided that the conflicts between the English and French kings would never see an end, she fled north with the infant Jacob beyond England; to her home in Waterford, Ireland where she raised Jacob alone.
Not long after Jacob grew had sickness claimed his mother. Believing that nothing remained for him at home, Jacob buried his mother and set out into the world to face fate. Jacob carries with him a ring; his mothers, at all times that he values higher than all else, including life.
In his travels Jacob found that he was quite the talented marksmen and often found work with hunting parties, tracking rare game, and as a guide. It was also not uncommon for Jacob to find work aboard a merchant’s ship when seeking passage throughout the North Sea. It is by this road that he came to Edinburgh, where he met Zachari DeBlack, Master Firetender to the Hanseatic League who hired Jacob as a trapper. When time came for the caravan to move on Zachari extended Jacob an invitation to meet the rest of the group and perhaps join with them.
Now, Jacob finds himself utilizing his tracking, trapping, and hunting skills as a Pledge to the Hanseatic League under the sponsership of the groups Hansgraf; Lord Sven von Lillienskjold. Jacob is grateful of the warm welcome he has been afforded by the group and works toward the day that he might be accepted as a full member.
